Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: patients who are more than 18 years old; pulp with asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis; normal periradicular condition; no systemic disease; tooth is restorable; root canal treatment can be done in one non emergency appointment. Exclusion criteria: patients who are under 18 years old; normal pulp condition; pulp with reversible pulpitis; pulp with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis; necrotic pulp; presence of periodontal ligament widening in radiographic picture; presence of periradicular or lateral radiolucency in radiographic picture; presence of periradicular or lateral radio opacity in radiographic picture; systemic disease; pregnancy; allergic to lidocaine; impossible to restore; presence of a crown before the procedure; needing two visit treatment; needing any extra procedure such as incision and drainage; absence of lip sign after administration of anesthesia; absence of bleeding after pulpal exposure; use of analgesics 24 hours before treatment; local anesthesia lasts for more than four hours after treatment; severe labial or lingual malpositioning making it difficult to achieve straight line access; two or more teeth needing root canal treatment on the same side; gastric disease.
