Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: patients referred with skin ulcer, caused by punch biopsy; age between 18 to 40 years old. Exclusion criteria: diseases affecting wound healing (diabetes, kidney disease, anemia, liver diseases, anxiety disorders); smoking and drug abuse; consumption of drugs affecting wound healing (glucocorticoids, anti-coagulation, immune system suppressants, antibiotics or chemotherapy agents).

| Size of the ulcer. Timepoint: Healing of ulcers was evaluated before and during the study (on the 3rd, 7th, and 14th days), with respect to the size of the ulcer. Method of measurement: We used a calibrated transparent paper to record the exact surface area, then scanned for evaluation using computerized planimetry digital image processing software (Florida, USA) to calculate the exact size of ulcers. | — |
