Intervention 1: Intervention group: Depressed patients with diabetes also take melatonin in addition to their previous treatment. 1 mg per night will start in children and it will be increased to 3 mg

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Having DSM5 diagnostic criteria for depression Age 8 to 18 years Not taking any medications affecting the mental state at least 2 weeks before starting the research
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Mental retardation The presence of any psychiatric disorder requiring treatment with psychiatric drugs, except for depression History of allergy to drugs used in the study Having a serious medical condition such as heart disease, neurological disease or a disease requiring surgery Uncontrolled seizure disorder People who have systolic blood pressure above 125 mmHg or their resting pulse is less than 60 and above 115 beats per minute. Using any medicine or supplement for treatment other than sertraline and melatonin
