Intervention 1: Intervention: 1. Acetazolamide oral tablet
20 mg/kg/day in 3-4 daily doses for 7 days post surgery 2. Patient in position 3/4 lateral. Intervention 2: Control: 1. Patient in position 3/4 lateral.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion: Dura tear during spinal surgery; Intra-dural tumor; trauma-related dura tear Exclusion: previous surgery and dura tear in the same location; history of chemotherapy or radiotherapy; malnutrition; uncontrolled metabolic disease
