Intervention 1: Intervention Group 1 (Health Belief Model): Initially, the baseline assessment for all participants in this group will include completion of the researcher-developed needs assessment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having non-insulin-dependent type 2 diabetes with a doctor's confirmation and a history of more than one year of the disease Have minimum reading and writing skills to understand the information provided in the educational intervention Have a mobile phone equipped with ETA or BALE notification and be able to use it Willingness and informed consent to participate in all phases of the study, including initial assessments and intervention sessions Be physically, cognitively, mentally, and emotionally capable of learning and participating in interventions. Age 25-65

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having mental retardation Developing chronic and severe complications of diabetes, such as Kidney Failure, Blindness, Diabetic Ulcers or Amputation Having an education in a health-related profession Pregnancy or breastfeeding Taking herbal medicines

MeasureTime frame
Dietary adherence score obtained from the 24-Hour dietry recall form. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, three months after the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: 24-Hour dietry recall form.

The construct of perceived Susceptibility in the health belief model. Timepoint: Pre-intervention and 3 months after intervention.
