Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Acute diarrhea(loose or watery stool more than 3 times in 24 hours in 14 days) Mild to moderate dehydration Between 2 to 5 years old Not receiving antibiotics, zinc-containing compounds, probiotics and Symbiotic in the last 1 month

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Chronic diarrhea (more than 14 days) Bacterial diarrhea (WBC with or without RBC in stool exam with abnormal stool culture) Parasite infection (such as giardia and amoeba) Severe dehydration Abdominal distention Intestinal obstruction Underlying diseases such as malnutrition and diabetes
