Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: myrtus cream on skin twice a day for 2 weeks or 1 month. Intervention 2: Control group: base cream on skin twice a day for 2 weeks or 1 month.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Included subjects were Iranian veterans of the Iraq–Iran war who were suffering from chronic pruritic skin lesions. Patients were excluded if itching resulted from systemic or cutaneous non-chemical diseases,or if they had received any topical treatments within 1 month before the study.
