Conditions

Condition 1: acute abdominal pain. Condition 2: opiate dependent patients. Severe abdominal pain (generalized)(localized)(with abdominal rigidity) Mental and behavioural disorders due to use of opioids

Interventions

Intervention 1: 0.4 mg of sub lingual buprenorphinee 4 times/day. Intervention 2: 5 mg of intravenous morphine 4 times/day.
Treatment - Drugs
0.4 mg of sub lingual buprenorphinee 4 times/day
5 mg of intravenous morphine 4 times/day

20 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: inclusion criteria: continuous use of opiate in last 10 days ; acute pain due to acute abdomen ; indication of use of narcotics ; Patients of American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I ; age 20-60 exclusion criteria: age less than 20 or more than 60 ;paracetamol prescription during last hour ; narcotics overdose ; undiagnosed acute abdomen ; multiple billiary duct stone ; los of conciseness due to head trauma ; shock ; underlying disease effects on pain ; SBP<100 ; multi drug dependants

MeasureTime frame
Pain severity. Timepoint: hour 1 , 6 and 24 after surgery. Method of measurement: visual analog scale (VAS).;Withdrawal severity. Timepoint: hour 1 , 6 and 24 after surgery. Method of measurement: Clinical Opiates Withdrawal Scale(COWS).
