Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention: 1200 mg oral pentoxifylline in three divided doses plus the standard treatment. Intervention 2: Control group: All patients will be received their standard treatment.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: outpatients with primary hypertension; patients with 18 years old and over; consented patients. Exclusion criteria: secondary hypertension; pregnancy; liver failure; kidney failure; heart failure; pentoxifylline or anti-hypertensive drugs contraindications.
