Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: patients were men and women 18 to 55 years? Patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery? The same surgeon and anesthesia? No problem on foot? Able to chew and swallow? Being alert and Avryanth? Patient's desire to participate in the study Exclusion criteria: patients with previous abdominal surgery? Patients with underlying disease (having diabetes, hypothyroidism, Hypoparathyroidism, electrolyte disorders, neuromuscular disorders)? Drug Addiction? Complicated to surgery? The patient died? Patients who for any reason are not able to chew sugar-free gum (an artificial Dtdan)

Flatus. Timepoint: Every two hours. Method of measurement: Ask the patient.;Defecation. Timepoint: Every two hours. Method of measurement: Ask the patient.;Bowel sounds. Timepoint: Every two hours until the return of bowel sounds. Method of measurement: Stethoscope.

Bowel movement. Timepoint: Every two hours. Method of measurement: To evaluate the recovery time of bowel movement, the three variables mean, time to the first flatus and time to first bowel movement, time to first bowel sounds in all four groups will be compared.
