Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with positive blood or sputum culture. Exclusion criteria: Age 35 Kg/m2; Alanine Aminotransferase Or Aspartate Aminotransferase Level >8-fold The Upper Limit Of Normal; Bilirubin >4 mg/dl;Creatinine Clearance (Crcl) (Determined With The Cockcroft- Gault Formula) <40 ml/min, Colistin IT or Nebulization administration, Colistin treatment for <72 hours

MeasureTime frame
Efficacy of treatment regimen in infection control. Timepoint: Entrance to study,3,5 and 7 days after intervention. Method of measurement: patient culture, vital signs and procalcitonin.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Nephrotoxicity of treatment regimens. Timepoint: Daily. Method of measurement: RIFLE criteria.
