Intervention 1: In this study, of the two eyes of the patient, one is in the control group and one is in the intervention group. In the intervention group, both artelac eye drop and estradiol eye drop
Treatment - Drugs
In this study, of the two eyes of the patient, one is in the control group and one is in the intervention group. In the intervention group, both artelac eye drop and estradiol eye drop are used.
In the control group, both artelac and pure water eye drop, as the placebo, will be used.
For decreasing bias in this RCT, this is a double-blinded randomized control trial, and neither the patients nor the examiner, are aware of the special treatment for each eye of the patients. For ever

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria : All women with dry eye syndrome after menopause referred to Emam Khomeini Hospital Exclusion Criteria: Previous usage of any type of eye drops; Previous eye surgery; Rheumatologic disease; Previous systemic Hormone Therapy

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of lacrimation. Timepoint: 3 weeks , 6 weeks , 3 months. Method of measurement: Schirmer test 1 and 2.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Cct. Timepoint: 3 weeks , 6 weeks , 3 months. Method of measurement: pachymetry.
