Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: 1- using poly lactic acid sheet in intervention group by wrapping it around the tendon at least 1 centimeter proximal and distal to the repair site. Intervention 2:
Treatment - Surgery
Intervention group: 1- using poly lactic acid sheet in intervention group by wrapping it around the tendon at least 1 centimeter proximal and distal to the repair site
Control group: tendon repair with 4 strands core suture and epitenon repair( standard method)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: severe joint or bone injury; severe contralateral hand injury; age <18; previous injury to the finger; concurrent illness such as OM; cardiopulmonare; CVD; limb ischemia; more than one neuromuscular bundle injury; crash injury ; infected wound. Inclusion criteria: sharp laceration of FDP tendon in zone II in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers admitted in Fatima hospital

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Range of motion of fingers. Timepoint: 1,3 and 6 months after discharge. Method of measurement: goniometry.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pinch strength and grip power between two fingers. Timepoint: 1,3 and 6 months. Method of measurement: Mortin vigorometer and jammer pinch gauge.
