Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: inclusion criteria; mothers within the age range of 18-35 years; ability to take care of the infant; lack of chronic physical or mental illnesses( mother said); literacy; long-term presence at the infant’s side (at least 18 hours a day);All the studied subjects had preterm infants weighing more than 2000g, with the gestational age of 30-37 weeks, and respiratory distress syndrome; the subjects were participated 24 houre after baby admission in NICU. Furthermore, the infants had no congenital abnormalities or other serious diseases requiring ventilation exclusion criteria:; The neonatal deaths during the study; the mothers’ refusal to continue the study; no response to telephone one month after neonatal discaharge
