Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria shall be stated as follows: The patient is connected to a ventilator; No NPO; Daily consumption of tea, coffee, chocolate and cola; Age over 15 years; Stable vital signs; No prohibition in drinking coffee. Exclusion criteria are stated as follows: Patient death; gastrointestinal bleeding; systolic blood pressure higher than 200 mmHg; The incidence of cardiac dysrhythmia.

Respiratory rate. Timepoint: 2 minnutebefore intervention and 30 to 60 minutes after intervention. Method of measurement: enumerated one minute.;Tidal volume.
