Distal Radius Fracture. Fracture of lower end of radius

Interventions

Intervention 1: For patients in Percutaneous Pinning: Fractured bones will be fixed with some pins inserted through the skin. These pins are made by the German Hoffman corporation. Intervention 2: Fo
Treatment - Surgery
For patients in Percutaneous Pinning: Fractured bones will be fixed with some pins inserted through the skin. These pins are made by the German Hoffman corporation.
For patients in Pin-in Plaster group: In adition to pinning by the same pins used for percutaneous pinning group, plastering will be applied to fix the fracture site.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: (to be older than 60 years old; not to have a history of prior distal radius fracture; not to suffer from any systemic disease such as diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis) Exclusion criteria: (patients with open fractures; or intra-articular fractures)

MeasureTime frame
Pain severity. Timepoint: Immediately after the operation and 3, 6 weeks and 6 months after the operation. Method of measurement: Using Visual Analogue Scale questionnaire.;Radiology scales. Timepoint: Immediately after the operation and 3, 6 weeks and 6 months after the operation. Method of measurement: By taking radiography from distal radius.;Wrist range of motion. Timepoint: Immediately after the operation and 3, 6 weeks and 6 months after the operation. Method of measurement: Using manual goniometer.
