Intervention 1: The losartan group (n = 40) will be treated for four months with losartan. Intervention 2: The control group (n= 33) will not receive a losartan.

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Patients with ESRD; non-diabetice; normotensive; weekly schedule of dialysis. Exclusion criteria: Hypotension; hyperkalemia
