Intervention 1: oral diazepam 0.3 mg per kg per dose,q 8 h for two days after fever onset. Intervention 2: oral nitrazepam 0.1 mg per kg per dose,q 12 h for two days after fever onset.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: children aged between 6 months to 3 years with first onset of febrile convulsion that referred to Ayatollah Moosavi hospital. Exclusion critaria: history of neurologic abnormalities; history of epilepsy in their first degree relatives, history of using anti-epileptic drugs.
