Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Definitive diagnosis of head lice: The presence of live lice or active eggs (nits) on the scalp hair must be confirmed by a physician or dermatologist. Absence of severe skin diseases: Participants must not have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or severe scalp infections. No use of anti-lice treatments: Participants must not have used any anti-lice treatment (chemical or herbal) within the past two weeks. Informed consent: Participants or their parents (in the case of children) must provide informed consent to participate in the study No known allergy to herbal compounds or 1% permethrin.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age below 5 or above 50 years, or no confirmed head lice infestation by a physician. Presence of active/severe skin disease, known allergy to plant compounds, pregnancy or breastfeeding, uncontrolled systemic diseases, concurrent topical medication use, or lack of consent/compliance with the study.
