Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Patients over 16 with simple traumatic wounds who attend emergency department of Shohadai e haftome tir general hospital. Simple traumatic wounds are described as wounds which are not caused by human on animal bites; not containing nerve, vessels, and tendon injury; have not find way through joints; and wound age dose not exceed 12 hours; open fractures and penetrating wounds. Exclusion criteria: Diabetes; cirrhosis; end stage renal disease; antibiotic or steroid and immunosuppressive consumption; splenectomy; patients who have prosthetic heart valves; and immune compromised patients congenital or acquired immune deficiency; patients who received antibiotics for wound infection prophylaxis.

Post repair wound infection. Timepoint: between 7 to 10 days after repair. Method of measurement: observation of the wound, telephone follow up.
