Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: having type 2 diabetes; age 30-65 years old; treated with glucose-lowering drugs. Exclusion criteria: insulin therapy; history of allergy to honey or bee products; pregnancy; lactation; renal failure; a history of any type of metabolic disease other than type 2 diabetes such as proved thyroid disease.
