Interventions

Intervention 1: Fluoxetine (20-40mg/day) + Lovastatin (30mg/day) for 6 weeks. Intervention 2: Fluoxetine (20-40mg/day) +Placebo for 6 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: major depressive disorder according to DSM_VI, both gender, and aged between 17 and 70 years old. Exclusion criteria: receive NSAIDs concurrently, reported positive history of cancer, and hypothyroidism.
