Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Participants will perform five 6-minute running blocks on a treadmill at their preferred speed during a testing session. These five blocks include one Baseline run

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: From the perspective of the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems, they must be healthy. From the perspective of the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, and underlying diseases, they must be completely healthy and not have taken any medication that affects their performance. Must not have experienced pain or an injury in the lower limb and area related to the knee in the 6 months prior to the study and must have no prior relevant experience. his study is conducted on healthy university students aged 20 to 40 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students who have obvious lower limb and foot deformities, such as structural genu varum, genu valgum, coxa vara, or coxa valga (structural). Individuals with a history of neurological, rheumatological, metabolic, or psychological disorders, vestibular system disorder, history of balance disorder, and recurrent positional vertigo. Students who do not have experience running on a treadmill.

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of kinematics (joint angles, stride length, and step length) during running. Timepoint: Before, during the intervention, and after the intervention. Method of measurement: The measurements will be recorded using a GoPro 7 camera before, during, and after the intervention. The measurements of lower limb joint angles, stride length, and step length during running will be calculated using Kinovea software.;Measure of Oxygen consumption and Carbon Dioxide production. Timepoint: Before, during the intervention, and after the intervention. Method of measurement: Maximum oxygen consumption (VO2) and carbon dioxide production (VCO2) will be measured before, during, and after the intervention using the COSMED portable gas analyzer K5. Additionally, heart rate will be measured using a Polar H30 wireless belt. To determine the net VO2 and net expired carbon dioxide volume (VCO2), two minutes of breath-by-breath data recorded during standing before the start of the activity will be subtracted from all running data.;Perceived Exertion. Timepoint: Before, during the intervention, and after the intervention. Method of measurement: Central and Peripheral Perceived Exertion (cRPE and pRPE) will be measured using the Borg 6-20 scale during the last 10 seconds of each running block to evaluate cardiorespiratory and peripheral muscle fatigue.
