First group after tonsillectomy and beginning of eating took 5cc pure honey every an hour
Second group after tonsillectomy and beginning of eating took 5cc, 50% honey every an hour

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: inclusion criteria: children between 5-12 years undergoing tonsillectomy exclusion criteria: children between 5-12 undergoing tonsillectomy who were dissatisfacted of cooperation; children between 5-12 undergoing tonsillectomy who had sensitivity to honey; children between 5-12 undergoing tonsillectomy who could not count numbers 1-5, and lack of swalloing reflex
