We applied 0.05% clobetasol propionate lotion on the patches of alopecia in one group of our patients twice daily at morning and evening , then patients were visited every two weeks for 12 weeks perio

We used 2% Squill extract on the patches of alopecia in another group of our patients twice daily at morning and eveninig , then patients were visited every two weeks for 12 weeks period.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criterion: 1.Patients with patchy alopecia areata in scalp and beard area( with less than 25% of scalp area involvement) who are above 5 year old. Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnancy & Lactation 2.Patients who recieced steroids or immunosupressive drugs or any treatment for recent 1 month. 3.Previous history of sever cardiac disease or serious systemic illness 4.Concomitant use of digoxin,calcium and kinidine. 5.Patients who were allergic to squill.
