Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1-7 year old children with acute viral gastroenteritis; vomiting; moderate isonatremic dehydration; parenteral intolerance; no therapy prior to admission; no need for therapies other than those provided and written consent by parents. Exclusion criteria: mild or severe dehydration or hypo/hypernatremic moderate dehydration; laboratory results indicating active colitis e.g. blood , WBC or parasite in stool exam; acute abdomen symptomes or any emergency situation; gastro aesophageal reflux and patient discontinuation and/or premature dismiss.
