Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: In this study, the evidence-based nursing program will be taught in one in-person session and 7 virtual sessions in the Sky Room for the nurses in the intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for patients in this study include; age between 18 and 65, the patient being on mechanical ventilation, no more than 2 days since the patient was admitted to the ICU, at least 7 days after the start of the intervention, GCS score between 6 and 10, disease severity score (Apache 2) between 30 and 40, and informed consent from the patient's legal guardian to participate in the study The inclusion criteria for nurses include having at least a bachelor's degree in nursing, having at least 1 year of work experience in the intensive care unit, and not being employed simultaneously in other departments. The exclusion criteria are transfer to other departments or leaving work during the study

MeasureTime frame
Length of stay in the special ward. Timepoint: From the time of starting your stay in the special ward until you leave it. Method of measurement: By day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Duration of connection to the ventilator. Timepoint: From the time of connection to the device until the time of disconnection. Method of measurement: By Day.;Septicemia. Timepoint: Daily. Method of measurement: Depending on the patient's test results and the doctor's final diagnosis.;Ventilator-associated pneumonia. Timepoint: Within the first 48 hours of connecting the patient to the ventilator. Method of measurement: SPIS Scale.;Pressure ulcer. Timepoint: Daily. Method of measurement: Braden Scale.;Delirium. Timepoint: Daily. Method of measurement: Using the CAM-ICU tool.;Urinary tract infection. Timepoint: Urinary tract infection that develops in a patient with a urinary catheter usually occurs within 48 hours of catheter placement. Method of measurement: Depending on the test results and the doctor's final diagnosis.
