Placebo
Intervention group: 2 months, purslane extract capsule contains 1 gram extract of purslane daily with a routine drug therapy with 4 mg risperidone each 12 hours.
Control group: routine treatment with 4 mg risperidone two times daily in addition to placebo capsule ( startch) daily for two months.

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: diagnosis of schizophrenia, admission in Sina hospital Exclusion criteria: Having allergy to Portulaca Oleacea L, Gastrointestinal problem(GI problem)

MeasureTime frame
Positive and negative symptoms and CRP and MDA serum level of patients. Timepoint: at base line, two months later. Method of measurement: positive and negative symptom questionnaire and Blood test.
