Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 90 years Acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation Indication for primary angioplasty Slow/no-flow phenomenon

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Valvular or congenital heart disease Contraindications to aspirin History of open-heart surgery History of stent thrombosis Use of fibrinolytics
