Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 60 years Patients with hypertrophic and keloid scars with at least two separate lesions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or lactation Diabetes mellitus or thyroid disorders Treatment of lesions with any type of treatment within the past three months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of skin lesion. Timepoint: At weeks four, eight, and twelve. Method of measurement: By clinical examination.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Any skin complication at injection site including redness, itching, soreness, or swelling. Timepoint: At weeks four, twelve, and twelve. Method of measurement: By clinical examination.
