Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 65 years Chronic periodontitis with pocket depth of at least 5 mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or breastfeeding Diabetes Smoking with more than 10 cigarettes a day Taking antibiotic in the past month

MeasureTime frame
Clinical parameters including bleeding on probing (BOP), probing pocket depth (PPD) and clinical attachment level (CAL). Timepoint: Before intervention and 4 weeks later. Method of measurement: By clinical examination.
