Intervention 1: Intervention group: Scaling and root planning using a laser Er, Cr: YSGG, with a head of RFTP5, 1.5 W, 30 Hz, with an angle of less than 15 and parallel to the long axis of the tooth.

Inclusion criteria: Age of 20 to 65 years, Moderate to severe generalized chronic periodontitis, Envelope depth 4 to 7 mm without destruction of angular bone,

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or breastfeeding, Any systemic disease, Using tobacco
