Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Routine care and group counseling based on protection-motivation theory for 45 to 60 minutes per week for 4 weeks. Intervention 2: Control group: Just routine care.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age of 50 to 60 years; Cessation of menstruation for more than a year; Being literate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Physical or mental diseases; A history of cancer in patient or her family; A history of regular screening; A previous history of counseling.

Participants' attitude and function toward cervical cancer screening. Timepoint: Before and after group counseling. Method of measurement: Using a standard questionnaire.
