Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age of 18 to 50 years Chronic periodontitis with a minimum depth of 5 mm in at least 2 teeth The plaque index less than or equal to 30% Having at least 15 teeth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A history of antibiotic use in the last 6 months A history of periodontal surgery A history of digestive or respiratory diseases Oral Fungal Infections Oral lesions, tonsillitis, and adenoid enlargement

MeasureTime frame
Assessing the oral malodor. Timepoint: 2 and 12 weeks after treatment. Method of measurement: Through physical examination with Rosenberg method.
