Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1- Fifteen to forty five years old patients 2- Proficiency in Persian and being able to read and write 3- Having hand injury that undergoing operating for the first time 4- Maximum post-admission time of 24 hours for the surgery Exclusion criteria: 1- History of known mental illness 2- Consumption of anti–anxiety and opioid drugs 3-Having minor injuries like finger tip injuries and sever injuries like hand amputation.
