Interventions

Intervention 1: Control group will receive placebo. Intervention 2: Intervention group will cosume 140mg Sylimarin twice a day for 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: First-degree relatives of diabetic patients with BMI >25kg/m2 and age>25 years and age<65 year. Exclusion criteria: Diabetic patients or first degree relatives with BMI=<25kg/m2 or who consumed drug or supplementation that reduce insulin resistance for past three months.
