Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: all patients with the diagnosis of depression confirmed with at least 2 independent psychiatrists based on Hamilton and Becks criteria and DMS IV hospitalized in the educational hospitals. Exclusion criteria: patients who may have other underlying disorders(medical or psychiatric); addicted patients; pregnant women and patients who may need ECT
