For mothers in the control group, intravenous injection of ampicillin 2 g every 6 hours (8 gram/24 hours) was started and continued until 24 hours after delivery.
For mothers in the intervention group, intravenous injection of cefotaxime 1 g every 8 hours (3 gram/24 hours) was started and continued until 24 hours after delivery.
