Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Minimum accumulative dose of 40 Gy according to treatment protocol; Complete exposure of oral field to x ray; Minimum age of 18; Exclusion criteria were: history of previous radiotherapy of the head neck or cytotoxic chemotherapy; Pregnancy; Preexisting oral conditions; Use of other medications related to oral mucositis during study period; Any systemic diseases interfering with healing; interruption of radiotherapy

Erythema. Timepoint: before intervention, until the end of intervention (weekly, 8weeks). Method of measurement: according to OMAS (mild,severe).;Ulceration. Timepoint: before intervention, until the end of intervention (weekly, 8weeks). Method of measurement: according to OMAS(milimeter).
