Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: At least 72 hours of hospitalization after open heart surgery Minimum ability to read and write Ability to communicate verbally Age between 40 and 80 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Emergency open heart surgery Known cognitive and psychological problems Severe vision and hearing disorders Life threatening conditions

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The percentage of patients with delirium score less than 27 according to the Neecham scale. Timepoint: Three times a day for three days. Method of measurement: Neecham scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pain severity score. Timepoint: Everyday. Method of measurement: Visual Numeric Scale.
