Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women in the 18-55 age range with melasma

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, lactation, antiepileptic drugs and spironolactone  Thyroid disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, anti-smear drug use during last 6 months, Use of oral and phototoxic contraceptives since last month, sensitivity to hydroquinone or Terminalia Chebula

MeasureTime frame
Melanin. Timepoint: At the beginning of treatment and at the end of weeks 4, 8 and 12. Method of measurement: Modified Melasma Area and Severity Index (MMASI).
