Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were: the last and penultimate year student, pass the all theoretical units of labor and childbirth, had training unit in three main hospitals of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences; and had not passed any basic training in continuous labor support. Exclusion criteria included absence of the experimental group students in the training class. 3 students in experimental group were excluded due to lack of attendance at training class
