Intervention 1: The intervention was a Compact Disc (CD) which was delivered to the intervention group. Each patient in intervention group was informed about the aim of the teaching program and receiv

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: the presence of asthma should be diagnosed by the physician, while no other chronic disease like cancer, diabetes, and psychological disorders are presented; 18 to 65 years old, be able to speak in Persian language, have basic reading/writing skills, and be able to work with the computer. Exclusion criteria: severe asthma attack or other disorders which noticeably affect QOL
