Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients included in this study were in need of RCR on mandibular molars They were presented with periapical lesions with scores 2 or 3 in accordance with the periapical index classification introduced by Ørstavik et al A pain VAS <56 A percussion pain VAS <56 All patients were in good health as determined by health history and verbal questioning

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Periodontal probing greater than 3 mm Swelling or sinus tract Palpation and percussion VAS>56 All the teeth that have been diagnosed to be unrestorable after the endodontic retreatment in the primary evaluations, will be excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Post endodontic retreatment pain. Timepoint: 4, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours and day 7. Method of measurement: VAS ruler.
