30 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion: 1- diabetes onset after age 30 with at least 5 years duration with no insulin therapy; 2- well established diabetes mellitus with FPG >7.8 m/l ; 3- age between 30-70; 4- serumCr<2 mg/dl. Exclusion: 1- loss to follow up; 2-history of DKA; 3- diabetes onset before 30; 4- current smoking; 5- use of vitamin supplementation in past 6 months; 6- use of glucocorticoids, OCP, thyroidal hormons, alcohol, propranolol; 7- history of inflammatory diseases like autoimmune, GI disorders, recent MI, CVA; 8-Microalbominuria more than 30 mg/dl; 9- poor compliance.

Oxidized LDL. Timepoint: 2 Months. Method of measurement: serum level with standard measurement.

MeasureTime frame
Plasma glucose /HBA1C. Timepoint: 2 months. Method of measurement: serum level measurment.
