Intervention 1: Dietetic prebiotic jam containing 50 grams of carbohydrate (Which will be less than 100 grams of jam). Intervention 2: 50 grams of pure glucose (as reference food) dissolved in water.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Not having diabetes and gastrointestinal disorders; Having normal fasting blood glucose (as an indicator of not having prediabetes ); Not pregnant or lactating; Exclusion criteria: Having the diseases mentioned above; Having abnormal fasting blood glucose (as an indicator of having prediabetes ); Pregnant or lactating

MeasureTime frame
Glycemic response. Timepoint: At 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120 minutes after consuming each of the three types of the jam (conventional jam, diabetic jam available in the market and dietetic prebiotic jam) and 3 times of pure glucose solution. Method of measurement: Measurement of blood glucose from the fingers using a glucometer.;Sensory evaluation of the the three types of jam. Timepoint: Exactly after the consumption of one tablespoon of each of the jams. Method of measurement: Hedonic system (questionnaire).
