Interventions

Intervention 1: First group takes 10-20 mg olanzapine for 6 weeks. Intervention 2: Second group takes 16-24 mg perphenazine for 6 weeks.
Treatment - Drugs
First group takes 10-20 mg olanzapine for 6 weeks.
Second group takes 16-24 mg perphenazine for 6 weeks.

16 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Bipolar disorder diagnosis based on DSM-4-TR; Filling in the personal satisfaction form; Ages between 16-50 years; No Psychotic symptom. Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy; Organic disorders; Co morbidity; No tendency to admission; No ECT treatment.

Decreasing extra pyramidal complications. Timepoint: weeks 0, 3 and 6. Method of measurement: Clinical examination.

Recovery rate based on n YMRS. Timepoint: in weeks 0, 3 & 6. Method of measurement: YMRS form.
