250 mg of ginger orally three times a day before menstruation and three days for two months

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Iranian single women, age 13-20 years, signing informed consent, having regular menstrual cycles, suffering from dysmenorrhea during recent years, dysmenorrhea starting with the onset of bleeding, pain score of more than 4 confirmed by the pain Visual Analogue Scale (PVAS: range 0-10) Exclusion criteria: taking medications such as hormonal contraceptives, having history of pelvic surgery, Lack of participant’s cooperation, Participants who develop severe mental and emotional stress during the study, Participants who use medicines during the study due to any medical diseases, (i.e. hormones, heparin, etc.)
