Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: 8 mg IV dexamethasone infused. Intervention 2: Control group: 8 mg IV normal saline infused.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients from ASA class 1 and 2 Patients who are undergoing cataract surgery 40-80 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Congestive heart failure Hypertension History of corticosteroid use Renal failure Liver Dysfunction

MeasureTime frame
Blood Suger. Timepoint: 0,2,4,6,12 hours after surgery. Method of measurement: by glucometer.
