Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: patients that undergo open cardiac surgery. Exclusion criteria: 1.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), 2.emergency surgery, 3.Congestive heart failure (CHF).

Effect on spirometry. Timepoint: 15 days. Method of measurement: Spirometry instrument.

MeasureTime frame
Arterial Blood Gases (ABG). Timepoint: according to ward routin evaluations. Method of measurement: ABG instrument.
